Is this a lead generation site?

They are not sold, not shared with a list, and if you would rather they were deleted, replying to the acknowledgement email is enough.

There is one thing worth being upfront about, because it affects the timing rather than the principle. The contractor covering the patch is being vetted before any homeowner's details go near them — insurance, references and a look at their work. Until that is confirmed the honest position is that a callback is a matter of days rather than the same afternoon, and the acknowledgement email says so plainly rather than promising something else.
